Pekin, IL – McDaniels Marketing is pleased to announce the hiring of MacKenzie Taylor as the firm’s new Vice President of Account Services. In this role, Taylor will be responsible for guiding every part of the client brand, strategy, and tactical plans. Additionally, Taylor will support McDaniels in a leadership role internally and externally as the agency continues to grow. Former Vice President, Beth Geier was also named Chief Operating Officer as she continues to manage clients and guide the agency into the future.

“We are thrilled to have MacKenzie join the McDaniels Marketing team in what is an exciting time for our agency,” said Randy McDaniels, President of McDaniels Marketing. “She is highly experienced in agriculture, non-profit, and tourism marketing, making her an excellent choice to add to the management team to help our clients meet their challenges head-on. MacKenzie has the unique ability to research, listen, and craft a strategy that is filled with creative ideas that really stand out.”

Before joining the McDaniels team, Taylor most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra (PSO). In that position, she managed all media relations, strategic marketing and communications, advertisements, web and digital, print materials, ticket sales for season subscriptions and single tickets, and materials for marquee fundraisers and donor events. Prior to her time with the PSO, she worked for the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (Discover Peoria) as the Strategic Communications Manager where she helped lead the Bureau through a full rebrand and website redesign, collaborated on many projects promoting the seven-county region Discover Peoria represents, and reinvigorated the area’s hometown pride. She also spent time working in a corporate setting at the John Deere Harvester Works factory in East Moline, IL as the Communications Assistant.

“Having the opportunity to work for a locally owned agency such as McDaniels Marketing is a very exciting opportunity and I feel honored to get to join this team,” Taylor said. “I am excited to be a part of an amazing organization that doesn’t hesitate to tackle big initiatives to bolster the clients it represents.”

Taylor currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Public Relations Association of Central Illinois and the Young Professionals of Greater Peoria. She is the Committee Chair for the 2024 R^SE Summit, a regional conference for young professionals, and is also active with the Peoria Women’s Club on its PR committee, and Women in Leadership of Central Illinois.
